MOA
So...Mall of America was completely and utterly awesome! Totally worth the 13 hour drive! Now, I know that your all thinking..."HOLY CRAP! 13 HOURS IN THE CAR WITH ONLY YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER!?" And yes, 13 hours in a car with my significant other AND we both survived! It was a good vacation, not to mention comepletely wonderful to just get away and spend some un-interrupted time with Nick. I love when its just the two of us and we dont have to worry about anyone or anything else. It make me realize that I could be completely happy with him for the rest of our lives.

Anyways, the mall was overwhelming at first but ended up being quite easy to conquire. There were three levels of stores with 4 anchor stores: Bloomingdales, Sears, Macys and Nordstroms. In the middle of the mall was Camp Snoopy! It had 3 or 4 rollercoasters and a log ride. It was similar to Cedar Point...just smaller. Also underneath the mall is the worlds largest underground aquarium. Ya know how the Polar Bear exihibit is at the Detroit Zoo? Well thats how the whole aquarium was! We got some pretty good pictures. Who knew that Nick had such a love for fish?! Another awesome aspect of MOA (Mall of America) was that there is no tax on clothing or shoes in Minneasota! Can you imagine going up to a counter and getting a shirt for the EXACT price that the tag stated?! Its crazy and totally dangerous because it makes you want to buy tons of stuff cuz you feel like your getting away with something. Other than that, their tax was 6.5%...not much different than our own. We also took a trip to downtown Minneapolis and went to the Hard Rock Cafe...I'm obsessed with them and NEED to get a shirt from every one that I go to. We also got to see where the Minnesota Timberwolves play basketball. I also finally got to experience an IKEA. For those of you who have no idea what Im talking about...I was in the same boat just a week ago. I didnt understand this whole IKEA crazyness. But now...I have crossed over. IKEA is a huge furniture and linens store. And everything is like holy-crap cheap but at the same time extremely cute! The reason for the cheapness is because you, the consumer have to put together the furniture that you purchase. Now I would totally put together cute furniture from IKEA in order to save money. They had fake rooms set up and furnished so that you could see the different options that you have. And they had a small office and a small guest bedroom completely furnished for like $700 each! Totally crazyness like I said! Needless to say... I cant wait til the IKEA in Canton opens up!

That was the highlights of my trip to the Mall of America.

As for today...I was pretty unproductive. I slept in really late, got ready and then went to a Tiger's game with Julie, Megan and Dawn. It was extreamly hot and sticky..almost unbearable. But it was a good game, we won! Crazy isnt it?! And we ran into Becky and Rachel...they're regulars at Tiger Stadium! I dont know how they can stand the heat?!

Well...this entry has gotten way too long! I'm off to bed!
